The Party Wall

A complex and intricate three story party wall separates two beautiful modest sized townhouses, seated on a hill over looking the Kelburn viaduct. Working together with Patchwork Architecture and Spencer Holmes we pushed the boundaries of what we thought was possible with insitu concrete. Topping it off with some very tidy carpentry work, we have to say that we are very proud of what we achieved.

10x10 House

An NZIA award-winning house designed by Patchwork Architecture. Situated on the hills overlooking Kilbirnie, we transformed 280 square meters of land into so much more!

The Pyramid Scheme

A small family home designed by Patchwork Architecture, built on a small site in close proximity to neighbours in Mt Cook. 2017 Home of the Year Finalist and winner of Best Small Home. Home of the Year awards.

Eastbourne Studio

Inspired by the book Jonathan Livingston Seagull, the roof and ceiling resemble the form of a seagull wing. The studio is clad with an intricate rain screen system to achieve a continuation from wall to roof. Designed by Conor Dolman.

Stealth Bomber

A high-end home set among native trees, designed by Patchwork Architecture, situated on a tricky steep site in Island Bay. We worked side by side with the clients (2 architects and an engineer) to build this 2017 Home of the Year Finalist.

Donald Street Reno

Working closely with foster+melville architects we stripped out and completely renovated the interior of this Karori home.

The Waffle

This Lyall Bay sleepout, designed by Conor Dolman, is based around the waffle-like grid of the roof structure, which is reflected in the pattern of the cladding.
With a small budget, we worked with the architect and client to create a studio that is uniquely tailored to the client, while responding to the Lyall Bay context.
